Will the new Beijing international IP exchange be a game changer?

According to China National Intellectual Property Administration, the Beijing Intellectual Property Exchange was launched on 16 September 2020. It is to be operated by China Technology Exchange and take advantage of the capital's policies, resources and prime location to become an important hub for the international IP cross-border transaction market. The government official indicated “the Beijing IP exchange will set up an international IP trading platform and establish a cooperation mechanism with national IP organizations."
